The lesser Swedish State Arms with the Chain of the Order of the Seraphim indicates a Guards Unit. The Muskets behind the Shield indicates a Infantry Unit.
The Svea Life Guards was created in 1792 and in 2000 was ammalgamated with the 1st Cavalry Regiment - Life Guards Dragoons to form the Livgardet (Life Guards).
During the Years 1994-2000 the shown Arms was used by the Life Guards Brigade, the Regiment used similar Arms but with two Swords behind the Shield instead of the Muskets.
