Official blazon

A cloack sable charged with a double headed eagle displayed argent.
Motto: Ex tennebris = Through darkness.

Origin/meaning

The dark cloak symbolise the secrecy involved in the role of supplyingthe French Resistance. The Double-Headed Eagle is from the Arms of the City of Arnhem, and symbolises the role over that City. The badge was granted in February 1945.
