History: Formed in January 1915 at Gosport.

Official blazon

In front of a dagger a Lynx's head affrontee.

Origin/meaning

The Dagger is an old established emblem used by the Squadron. The Lynx's head symbolises vigilance. The badge was approved in February 1937.
The Motto translates as "We assist by watching".
