Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 21, 2000.
The fleur de lis is the symbol of Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint. The cross refers to the Order of Santiago, whih played a large role in the local history. The trees refer to the local protected national forest.
The millstone refers to the many windmills that use dto be present in the parish.
