In Gold über einem siebenzackigen, grünen Tannenschnittfuß ein achtstrahliger schwarzer Stern, belegt mit einem sechsstrahligen silbernen Schneekristall.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 12, 1974.
The main charge is the black star of Waldeck, to which the area historically belonged. The snow crystal symbolises the fact that the municipality is a winter resort. The lower part symbolises the large forests in the Upland region.
