Crest : A demi lion gules holding between the paws a railway wheel argent.
Supporters: On either side a lion guardant gules charged on the shoulder with a railway wheel argent.

Granted by the College of Arms on May 17, 1956 to the British Transport Commission, see there. Transferred to the British Railways Board on February 20, 1963.
