Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 25, 1998.
The green field and the wheat ears refer to the rich soils and wheat cultivation. This is further symbolised by the baker's showel for the many bakeries in the area that use the wheat. The fire also refers to the ovens as well as to the fact that the village was burned down by the Castillians in the 17th century. The grapes refer to the viticulture in the municipality.
