Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 8, 1994.
The arms show a canting abbot, which also appeared on the oldest known seal of the village, dating from 1739.
The two stars symbolise the two villages in the municipality, Abtsbessingen and Billeben.
Seal from around 1900 |
