Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 3, 1987.
The rooster (gallo) is a canting symbol, the name means "river of the rooster". The tree symbolises on the one hand the old tree that dominated the village square for many centuries. It also symbolises the cultivation of fruits and forestry in the municipality.
The axe in the lower half is also a symbol of the importance of forestry for the town.
