- (fr) De gueules à la fontaine héraldique fascée ondée d'argent et d'azur, cerclée d'argent; chapé ployé du même chargé de deux haches affrontées de sable, celle de dextre posée en bande, celle de senestre en barre.
Origin/meaning
The red point refers to the cloak of St. Martin of Tours, the local patron saint. The (heraldic) fountain refers to the fountain in the village, a local landmark. The (battle) axes refer to the Marcomanni, a German tribe that settled in the area in Roman times.
