LIRONVILLE
Département : Meurthe-et-Moselle
Official blason
- (fr) De gueules à la colombe fondant d'argent, tenant dans son bec la sainte ampoule d'or, cantonnée de quatre lionceaux d'argent, armés, lampassés et couronnés d'or.
Origin/meaning
The four lions are taken from the arms of the Beauvau family, former lords of the village. The colours were inversed to add the dove and ampoule, symbols of St. Remigius, patron saint of the village church.
