State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Bad Dürkheim
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Deidesheim

Wappen von Niederkirchen bei Deidesheim/Arms (crest) of Niederkirchen bei Deidesheim
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 17, 1927.

The village belonged to Deidesheim until 1819 and was known as Niederdeidesheim. Although an old seal of Niederkirchen was known, showing two crossed swords and a star, the village used in the 19th century a variation of the arms of Deidesheim, see image below.

As the colours were not heraldically correct, the arms were granted in 1927 in different colours.
