Origin/meaning
The Lordship Ruppin (also known as County Ruppin) was a feudal lordship of the Holy Roman Empire centered around the town of Neuruppin in Brandenburg. It existed from 1214-1524 when it was annexed by Brandenburg. As title it was continued by later rulers including the Kings of Prussia. The arms were a silver eagle in red.
