German | In Silber ein grüner Wellenschrägbalken, darüber ein golden gekrönter schwarzer Wolf, darunter schräg übereinander zwei rote Giebelhäuser. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 23, 1976.
The wolf in the arms is taken from the arms of the Lords of Westernach, who ruled the village of Kronburg for a long time. The two red houses symboliset he village of Illerbeuren, which means 'to the houses'. The green wavy bend is the Iller river that flows through the municipality.
