Écartelé: au 1er d’azur à l’épée haute d’argent, aux 2e et 3e d’or au rosier terrassé de sinople et fleuri de trois pièces de gueules et au chef d’azur chargé de trois étoiles d’or, au 4e d’azur au lion d’or.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1881 and are those of the Lords of Bertin. In 1762 Henri Léonard Jean Baptiste Bertin acquired the local castle and village. He was the last Lord of Chatou until the French Revolution.
