Coats of arms of officials of the Roman Catholic Church with the (honorary) title of Monsignor. The honorary title of monsignor is conferred by the Pope upon diocesan priests (not members of religious institutes) in the service of the Holy See, and may be granted by him also to other diocesan priests at the request of the priest's bishop. The priest so honored is considered to be a member of the papal household. The title goes with any of the following three awards:
- Chaplain of His Holiness (called Papal Chamberlain until a 1969 reform)
- Honorary Prelate (until 1969 called Domestic Prelate)
- Protonotary Apostolic
For officials with a lower rank, see Category:Roman Catholic priests and with a rank of bishop or above, see Category:Roman Catholic personal arms
