Département : Seine-et-Marne
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in June 1994.
The arms show a mountain symbolising the rolling hills and stony soils of the area. The red colour is the colour of the Brie region. the figure on the mountain is taken from the arms of the Caumartin family, former lords of the village.
The mulberries (Mûres) are a canting symbol and the ampoule is the symbol of St. Remigius, the local patron saint.
