Département : Moselle

Blason de Liederschiedt

Official blason

De sinople à l'agneau d'argent surmonté d'une fleur de lis d'or; à la bordure du même.

Origin/meaning

The sheep and fleur-de-lys are symbols for St. Wendelinus, the local patron saint. The bordure is taken from the arms of the Counts of Bitche, former Lords of the village.
