- (fr) De sinople à deux cotices ondées et abaissées d'argent, accompagnées en chef d'un jars au naturel; au franc quartier cousu de gueules chargé d'une volute de crosse d'or.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on November 24, 2014.
The arms show a canting male goose (jars in French) and two wavy bends for the Sauldre and Nere rivers. The crosier refers to St. Aignan, the local patron saint.
