Official blazon

Escudo de vermelho, feixe de cinco espigas de trigo de ouro, atado por torçal de prata, entre dois ramos de sobreiro de ouro, landados de prata, alinhados em faixa, em chefe e campanha ondada de prata e azul de três tiras. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: " VALE DE ÁGUA ".

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 26, 2002.

The oak branches in the chief symbolise the forests and nature in the area. The wheat refers to the main agricultural crop and agriculture in general. The base symbolises the Campilhas dam and lake in the parish.
