Official blazon

Von Silber und Rot gespalten, rechts ein grüner Zweig, links ein silberner Adler.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 2, 1970.

The arms show a canting branch (Salweiden, a kind of willow) and an eagle. The eagle should refer to the silver in blue eagle of the Counts of Leiningen, who ruled the village for many centuries. However, the colours are those of the Lords of Dahn.
