Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on December 10, 1993. The magpie in the upper half is a canting element for the Weisse Elster river (Elster being the name for magpie in German), that flows through the municipality. The lower half shows a chestnut leaf, for the many chestnuts in the area. The fourth quarter shows a brick wall, symbolising the local tile industry. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
