REDEKIN
State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Jerichower Land
Incorporated into : 2010 Jerichow
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on July 31, 2008. The bell refers to the former village of Rehnogh, which was destroyed, butthe churchbell, of a rather unusual design, was later found and re-used. The wheat-ears refer to the agricultural character of the village. The lower half is derived from the arms of the Von Redekin family, which lived in the village for a long time.
