Origin/meaning
The municipality never used arms. The above arms were adopted as village arms in 2009.
The cross is taken from the 16th century (?) seal of the local court of Düffelward, Keeken and Bimmen. The meaning thereof is not known. The other half symbolises the position of the village along the Rhine (bend) and agricultural character (clovers). The clovers are also taken from the arms of the city of Kleve.
The colours are those of the State of Nordrhein-Westfalen.
