Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 14, 2019.

The arms are those of Bâgé-la-Ville, with an additional third quarter for Dommartin. This quarter shows the arms of the Feillens-Vologna family, lords of the village of Dommartin in the 13th century. Literature: Image from http://www.armorialdefrance.fr
