Origin/meaning
The oldest known seal of the village dates from 1550 and already shows a hand and sickle, used in viticulture. In the 18th century the local border stones showed two crossed sickles as a symbol for the village. In 1930 the village adopted the old composition, which, in a slightly different shape was finally granted in 1963.
