Origin/meaning
The arms are known since 1550, and have been used ever since. The eagle is the Imperial eagle, albeit with a silver filed instead of the official golden shield. The wall and the eagle symbolize the Imperial residence (Kaiserpfalz) that existed near the village in medieval times.
The arms by Hupp in the Kaffee Hag albums +/- 1925 |
