OBERLIND

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Sonneberg
Incorporated into : 1950 Sonneberg

Wappen von Oberlind/Arms (crest) of Oberlind
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show a canting linden tree. The water in the base of the arms most likely symbolizes the Steinach river near the town. The tree already appeared in the old seals of the town.
