State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Hildburghausen
Incorporated into : 1994 Schleusegrund
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 12, 1993.
The lower half of the arms shows the local outdoor theatre, which was built in the 1950s. The upper half shows a canting stone (Stein) flanked by two pine trees, which symbolise the Thüringer Wald forest. The pine trees and the stone also appeared on the older village seal.
