Escut caironat: de sinople, una clau d’or en pal amb la dent al cap i mirant a la destra, acostada d’una mitra d’argent embellida d’or, a la destra, i d’un món de sable creuat i cintrat d’or, a la sinistra. Per timbre, una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 5, 1999.

The key is the attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint of Gavet de la Conca. The other two elements stand for the other two main villages in the municipality: the mitre is the traditional sign of Sant Serni, and the orb -or mound royal- is for Sant Salvador de Toló.
