Escut caironat: de gules, una graella de sable i una palma d'or passades en sautor la graella en banda per damunt de la palma en barra. Per timbre una corona mural de ciutat.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 1st December 1999.

The arms show traditionally a palm and a grill, the attributes of the martyr St. Lawrence, the local patron saint since 1524, when the parish church of Sant Llorenç replaced the ancient Sant Feliu, dating back to 11th century.
