VAUDONCOURT (MEUSE)

Département : Meuse

Blason de Vaudoncourt (Meuse)
Official blazon
French Coupé crénelé d'or et de gueules, à six coucous de l'un en l'autre disposés 2 et 1, 2 et 1.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 17, 2005.

The division line refers to the old castle. The colours are taken from the arms of the former Lord Coudenhove. The inhabitants of Vaudoncourt are called cuckoos, hence the six cuckoos in the arms.
