NO 707 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First formed in 1945 as Radar Trials Unit. The Squadron reformed as a Commando Trials Unitin 1964with Westland Wessex Helicopters.

English Blue; a base barry wavy white and blue a dagger point downwards silver winged gold.

Motto: Ne gladius dormiat.

Origin/meaning

The Winged Dagger symbolises the Commando Connection. The Latin Motto translates as "Let the sword not sleep". The Badge was approved in 1965.
