Pratsl.png

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 23th September 1999.

The arms of Prats de Lluçanès have shown traditionally the castle of Lluçà, linked to the history of the town, that was born during the 17th century. The four heraldic roses are an allusion to the name Prats, meaning "meadows" in Catalan.
