Official blazon

Escudo, en campo de gules una torre de oro, donjonada de tres donjones, mazonada de sable y aclarada de azur, flanqueada de dos leones afrontados de plata, coronados, linguados y armados de lo mismo. Al timbre corona real de España.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 2009.

The arms show a tower for Castill held by two silver lions. The meaning of the lions is not known, but the whole composition is taken from a seal of the local council from 1865.
