NO 777 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1941 ast Hastings, Sierra Leone as a Fleet Requirement Unit was responsible for local Air Defence in 1943. In 1945-1946 it worked as a trials unit.

Origin/meaning
The Latin Motto translates as "we teach the art which we have gained by experiment". The badge was approved in 1945.
