Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 25, 1983.
The upper half shows a kind of barn, which is a canting element; the name is derived from Scheunenberg and Scheune is a kind of barn. The lower half shows the arms of the Lords of Sickingen, the last rulers of the village until 1793.
