Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 23, 1955.

The key is the symbol of St. Peter, the patron saint of the local church. The left half shows a highly decorated hook, which was part of a large Celtic burial treasure, found in the area in 1937. It symbolises the historical inhabitation of the area. The blue and silver field colours are the colours of Bayern.
