(de-1938) Schild geteilt, oben gespalten: rechts in Rot das Savoyerkreuz, links in Blau der goldene Legionärsadler, unten in Gold ein marmorner Meilenstein auf natürlichem gebirgigem Schildfuss.
(de-new) Längsgeteilt im rechten roten Feld auf grüem Dreiberg ein Bergmann, in der rechten emen Berghammer, in der linken eine Grubenlampe haltend. Das linke Feld quergeteilt von Silber, Blau und Gold.
(it) Partito: il PRIMO di rosso sopra un monte di verde di tre cime un minatore, nella destra un martello da minatore, nella sinistra una lampada da miniera; il SECONDO interzato in fascia d'argento, d'azzurro e d'oro.

Origin/meaning

The new arms are identical to those of Gossensass, see there.

The previous arms were granted on July 24, 1938.

The arms show the cross of Savoie, at the time the ruling dynasty of Italy, the eagle of the Italian state and the well known Brennerpass with the borderstone.
