Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 2, 1960.
The arms refer to the Kukkiajärvi lake in the municipality, as the name of the lake can be translated freely as flower-lake. The arms thus show a waterlily flower.
The arms are used afte rthe merger by the new Pälkäne municipality.
