AARBERGEN
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Rheingau-Taunus Kreis (until 1973 Untertaunuskreis)
Additions : 1971 Daisbach, Hausen, Kettenbach, Michelbach, Panrod, Rückershausen
Origin/meaning :
The arms show in the upper part the key and sword taken from the arms of Kettenbach and Michelbach.
The base is canting, showing mountains (Berge) with wheat-ears (Aare). The colours are those on Nassau, as most of the municipality historically belonged to Nassau.
