Escut caironat: de gules, una palma d'or en pal i un ganivet d'atzur manegat de sable en faixa passats en creu llatina revessada, el ganivet per damunt de la palma, acompanyats a la punta d'una faixa ondada d'argent. Per timbre, una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 29th November 1993.

The palm and the knife are the attributes of the martyr St. Bartholomew, the patron saint of the village, that was flayed and beheaded. The wavy bar symbolizes the river Anoia.
