Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on September 23rd, 1996.

The arms attempt to blazon the landscape in which the municipality is situated, showing esp. the characteristic form of the Kulm mountain. This mountain plays an important part in local folklore and is rich in prehistoric remains.
