UNTERBERGLA

State : Steiermark
District : Deutschlandsberg

Unterbergla.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on April 25, 1988.

There are more than a hundred fishponds in the municipality, so a carp is the main charge of the arms.
The peacock feathers were the coat of arms of a medieval family, the Gleinzer, who gave their name to parts of the municipality.
