Wappen von Öfingen/Arms (crest) of Öfingen
Official blazon
German Unter goldenem Schildhaupt, darin eine liegende schwarze Hirschstange, in Silber ein roter Löwe.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were proposed and adopted in 1897.

The village was a possession of the Lords of Wartenberg until 1377 when it became part of Württemberg. It belonged to Württemberg until 1810. The arms thus show the lion of the Lords of Wartenberg under a chief with the deer antler of Württemberg.

The only known seal of the village dates from the early 19th century and shows the letters ÖF.
