Sköld medelst vågskuror tre gånger delad av guld, blått, silver och rött.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 15, 1961.

The arms represent the history of the different settlers in the municipality from Norway, Sweden and Finland. The colours are taken from the flags of these countries. The wavy lines symbolise the Röjdälven river.
