Červeno-modře čtvrcený štít. V prvním poli český lev. Ve druhém poli vyrůstá z modré vlnité paty se třemi stříbrnými vlnitými břevny do zeleného trojvrší stříbrná kvádrovaná věž s cimbuřím se sedmi stínkami, s prolomenou branou a zdviženou zlatou mříží. Ve třetím poli na zeleném trávníku stříbrný pluh. Ve čtvrtém poli stříbrný lev se zlatou zbrojí a dvěma ocasy majícími v místech křížení dva zlaté uzly. Lev má na hlavě stříbrnou kolčí přilbu se zlatou korunou a zlatými složenými orlími křídly. Zpod přilby splývá na hruď stříbrný kroužkový závěs se zlatým lemem. |

Origin/meaning
The first field contains the Bohemian lion as the modern region contains territory of the historical region.
The second field contains a silver gate over a blue and silver wavy base representing the Porta Bohemica (Gateway of Bohemia), the deep valley of the Elbe cutting through the Central Bohemian Uplands. The golden portcullis is a symbol of prosperity while the green trimount alludes to the mountains of the region.
The third field contains the Premyslid plow as the mythical Přemysl Oráč, the founder of the Premyslid dynasty, is said to have come from this region.
The fourth field contains the arms of Ústí nad Labem as the capital of the region.
