Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în furcă răsturnată. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află un dragon înaripat de argint, văzut din profil, cu coroană de aur și limbă roșie. În partea superioară, în câmp roșu, se află 3 narcise. În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află o biserică-hală de argint, văzută din față, terminată cu un fronton trapezoidal. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 20, 2013.

The winged and crowned dragon refers to the old coat of arms of the town, which in 1736 was the capital of the district.

Daffodils represent the nature reserve in the area, and their number indicates the number of component villages of the municipality.

The church symbolizes the old place of worship, the Cistercian church (currently Lutheran), built in the form of a Romanesque basilica, documented in 1211 and considered the second oldest of the churches in southeastern Transylvania.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
