Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în șef. Partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, este încărcată cu o fascie de argint, redată sub forma unui zid, crenelată în partea de sus, compusă din 8 rânduri de cărămizi și 8 creneluri, având în partea de jos o ușă boltită, ajurată negru, iar deasupra fasciei se află un căprior de aur, redat ¾ spre dreapta, având coada ridicată. Șeful este despicat, având la dextra, în câmp de argint, o sondă de petrol neagră, iar la senestra, în câmp roșu, un stejar smuls de argint, cu 6 fructe și 9 frunze. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

The oak symbolizes the forest richness of the area.
The fortress wall reminds of the Geto-Dacian fortification "La Cetate" and of the historical vestiges discovered on the territory of the locality.
The deer is part of the specific fauna of the area.
The mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
