Brick Red and Golden Yellow are the colours of Transportation units. The wings and the wheel symbolises rapid and efficient transportation by wheeled vehicles. The five fleur-de-lis symbolises the five campaings in Europe during World War II. The annulet and cinquefoil symbolises a wheel, the five petals of the cinquefoil also alluds to the five World War II campaigns. The Black cross symbolises service on German soil in World War II. The Coat of Arms was approved on 13 May 1993 and amended to add a Crest on 12 May 1998.
